2008 Qld Paint Horse State Championships - 27th Jul 2008
 
The Red Strokes steps down from the bridge element carefully for Sarah Peters in the Junior Youth Trail class at the 2008 Queensland Paint Horse Championships.
The Grand Champion Female of the show was Patrisha Marriott's beautiful mare, Quirran-Lea Tina O Lena, shown by Leanne Bartlett.
Not in the least concerned about all the fuss, ribbons & prizes that go with taking out the Yearling Futurity championship, Christine Sewell's lovely filly, Whatta Celebration, takes more of an interest in things outside of the arena.
Win-Rosee The Apprentice & Lisa Day made lead changes seem effortless during their run in the Senior Horse Western Riding. The pair were the champions of that event & several others during the course of the championships.
The judge for the 2008 Queensland Paint Horse Championships was Mrs Conny Barry from Victoria.
The multi-talented stallion, Garth Brooks, with owner/rider Meredith Rehn competes in the Open Dressage (Preliminary 1.3) at the 2008 Queensland Paint Horse Championships.
Senior Horse Reining champions, A Splash Of Bandit & Scott Sutton set down for a super stop in that event.
Our Incredible Story (Helen Golchert & Breanna Sheppard) handled by Robert Brumm was the Weanling Futurity champion, Grand Champion Male & Supreme Exhibit of the 2008 Queensland Paint Horse Championships.
A very careful Kunda Repeat Sound with Amy Woinarski aboard in the 4 & 5 Year Old Trail class.
Just what can't a good reining horse do? A Splash Of Bandit gave his three riders multiple championships & reserve championships at the show in many & varied classes. Aboard is his owner/amateur rider Kathy Murphy, together with youth rider, Leah McCarthy & open event rider, Scott Sutton.

The champions of the 3 Year Old Trail class were Exceptional One & Kyle Mobberley.
