QLD Government moves to change bat shooting law - 5th Apr 2012
Farmers will once again be allowed to shoot flying foxes in Queensland.
The state's new LNP government plans to overturn a law banning that practice because it was found to be inhumane.
The LNP says landholders who have failed to control flying foxes in non-lethal ways will be issued damage mitigation permits to cull them.
