The Melbourne International 3 Day Event (MI3DE) has a long and proud history as the proving ground for many of our best Olympic horses and riders. Australia boasts a long and successful Olympic history in eventing. For 55 years, M3DE has proudly provided world class riders and horses with first class competition.

Incorporating a great weekend of entertainment over the Queen's Birthday long weekend this event is a highlight on the Australian eventing rider's calendar. Comprising three phases; dressage, cross country and showjumping, Three Day Eventing is one of the most challenging and exciting equestrian sports. International 3 Day Events are graded according to level of difficulty with stars awarded to indicate the Event's grading. Melbourne International 3 Day Event is a 3 Star, the second highest grade, only surpassed in difficulty by events such as the Olympic and World Equestrian Games. In 2012 M3DE will host a World Cup Dressage Qualifier, a selection event for the 2012 London Olympics. This will feature Australia's top dressage riders and horses competing for world ranking points and the opportunity for Olympic selection.

Conducted in the beautiful surrounds of Werribee Park Mansion and the National Equestrian Centre, only half an hour from Melbourne, Melbourne 3DE is not to be missed. Spectators are well catered for with the dressage and showjumping phases held indoors at the equestrian centre. The cross country course winds through the State Rose Garden and formal grounds of Werribee Park Mansion. Outdoor hospitality marquees on the Cross Country Course plus an enormous and expanded enclosed trade village, food court, educative masterclasses, and entertainment ensure an eventful weekend for all!

Emma Mason riding her WB xTB, Poker Face by Wirragula Hamlet, produced a very nice test to lead after the dressage phase of the Logan Floats Australia CCI 2 Star.
Megan Bryant rode her Australian Stock Horse,Talinga Cavalier by the well performed Kirkby's Major in the dressage phase of the Logan Floats Australia CCI 2 Star.
Blair Richardson from NSW rode Anthony Harris', Thoroughbred, My Special Obsession in the RACV Farm Insurance CCI 1*. With a field of 78 the CCI 1* Dressage phase is conducted over two days.
Caroline Bewfrom from NSW rode her Thoroughbred, Lac La Bieche Jetsta in the RACV Farm Insurance CCI 1*.
Megan Jones from SA rode her homebred Irish Sport Horse, Kirby Park Irish Empress by Kirby Park Nantamboo to third place after day 1 of the RACV Farm Insurance CCI 1*.
Local rider, Adam Benson riding Elaine Castelini's, Brookwood Park Feuergress, a WB by Northern Congress leads the RACV Farm Insurance CCI 1*, after the first day of dressage.
South Australian, Anthony Thomas who is normally seem in the show jumping arena has three horses entered in the RACV Farm Insurance CCI 1*. Here Anthony rides his Koyuna Warlock by Brilliant Invader.
Natalie Peacock rode her Warmblood by Prince Noir, Roskymar Prince Noreah in the RACV Farm Insurance CCI 1*.
There is plenty of shopping on offer at this years Melbourne International 3DE.
Popular local rider, Will Enzinger rode Felicity Wischer's, Wyuna Clear Image in the dressage phase of the Logan Floats Australia CCI 2 Star.
Hayley Frielick from NSW rode the well performed Thoroughbred, Bentleigh Oliver in the Logan Floats Australia CCI 2 Star.
Belinda Isbister from Western Australia, rode her nice Thoroughbred by Woodman, Holly Bruce in the Logan Floats Australia CCI 2 Star.
Jade Findlay from NSW rode her WB/TB Frontier Psychiatrist by an unknown stallion who jumped the fence, to sixth place in the dressage phase of the Logan Floats Australia CCI 2 Star.
Brent Hansio rode Janet Hansio's, WB/TB Ambleside Sir William in the dressage phase of the Logan Floats Australia CCI 2 Star.
Katja Weimann rode her homebred, BP Flamboyant by Triathlete to produce a nice test in the Logan Floats Australia CCI 2 Star for seventh place.
Diane Gilder from NSW rode her Thoroughbred, Your Attorney in the dressage phase of the Logan Floats Australia CCI 2 Star.
Jessica Cocks rode Tammy Lee Notman's, thoroughbred Regal Royale in the dressage phase of the Logan Floats Australia CCI 2 Star.
Makayla Wood from WA rode rode her Thoroughbred Just Corona in the dressage phase of the Logan Floats Australia CCI 2 Star.
