| ATHRA - Monarto Forest When: 15th July 2012 Where: Monarto, SA Club Name: Gawler Trail Horse Riders Club Description: Host – LeeAnne Duthie ph 0421847346 Arrival 9.30am for a 10am start Ride description: Callington/Monarto ride is to meet at the Callington oval 9:30 a.m. for 10:00 a.m. ride out. There are "NO YARDS", but Toilets are available. We will be riding to the Monarto forest where there will be step over's along the way as well as dirt and bitumen roads. There will be time for walk, trot and canter along the way this should take around three hours ending back at the floats. From there we will be walking over to the Cally pub for a pizza lunch with drinks. The cost cannot be set yet until numbers are known anyone wishing to attend "Must let me know before the 7th July ". Note: All Manure and hay must be taken when leaving! Directions: Coming from Mt Pleasant head to Palmer turn right at the Palmer hotel then head towards Murray Bridge for about 20 km then turn right onto Pall Amana Rd just before Railway crossing, head 8 km until you get to five ways Veer to your left onto Monarto South Rd go past the hall on your right go approx 5 km till cross road turn right heading towards Callington, go down the big hill keep going until the second road on your left, this signs says Callington be careful turning as this is a sharp turn go over railway line and oval is on your left not far up. I will again put orange flags on signs starting from Pall Amana Rd. Cost: ATHRA member $2 Ride fee, Non ATHRA member visitor fee $25 (please be advised that if you are not a member of ATHRA you will need to be sponsored by an ATHRA member to participate).
