| Derek Readman Memorial Charity Trail Ride Bring your own horse, for a return leisurely trail ride from Stoney Range Pony Club at Albion Park through to Dunmore via local farming properties. The ride will be "Walking only" as both a risk management strategy & to enhance the "leisurely" aspect of this ride for participants of all ages. The ride mostly travels over open undulating paddocks; while taking in great views of the countryside and ocean. There will be some road riding & creek crossings. This special event is to be held under the Code of Conduct of the Australian Trail Horse Riders Association and will be fully supervised with accredited ride marshalls & qualified first aiders. Ride Rules · All participants under 18 years old MUST wear an approved riding safety helmet. · It is highly recommended that all riders wear an approved riding safety helmet. · An adult MUST accompany participants 16 years & under AT ALL TIMES. · Horses to have moderate fitness. Bring halter & lead to tie up horses at lunchtime. Stoney Range Pony Club grounds are at the end of Hughes Dr, Albion Park – access via Terry St. Ride out time is 9.30am sharp and will finish at approx. 3.00pm. Morning tea will be available prior to ride. Expect to be in the saddle for approx. 4.5 hours, lunch will be served at approx. 12.30pm. All participants are expected to complete the whole ride. Once back at Pony Club, afternoon tea will be available and the raffle will be drawn.
