This photograph indicates why Chris Chugg and 'Diamond B Verona' have won two out of two Section 3 classes. In a four way jump off, Chris and the Vivant mare were four seconds ahead of Vicki Roycroft and Cache that took second place. Vicki's round was super, but Chugg came out and just seemingly cantered around on the athletic and careful mare.

Colleen Brook jumped one of six clear rounds aboard Peter Carcary's, 'Poet's Corner'. The horse, not long back from Europe where it had been competing with Peter, misjudged a fence almost dislodging his rider. They had to settle for the "reserve" sixth place in the class.

Evie Buller, 2012 Young Rider Champion and member of the winning Australian Team at the NZ HOTY is riding beautifully. When most thought Tom McDermott and Romantic Dream had the class sewn up, Evie and her Yalambi's Landor took just over half a second off their time to win the class.

George Sanna is riding Danielle Butcher's 'Twins Quantum' whilst Danielle is riding in Europe. George set out to give the youngsters a jump off lesson, but a tight turn early did not pay off and the resultant four penalties saw them take fourth place in the Section 2 class this afternoon. Their time will come.

Amelia Tonkin from Baraba in NSW out rode all the cowboys riding her Acres Destiny gelding, 'Tramps Destiny' to win the second round of the Open Non Pro Cutting competition. Amelia and Tramps Destiny went on to take out The Horden Memorial Perpetual Trophy, donated by the Myer Family for the Highest Aggregate Open Non Pro Cutting Horse. Amelia also took third place in the second round riding her , Burrendah Acre, also by Acres Destiny.
