Not long back from her third trip riding in the UK, Brynie Lee has stamped her claim on the Providence Cup with her super working Walton gelding, 'SLM Valentino'. This combination won the Cup in 2016 and were Runners Up last year and claimed the award again today. They also took out the Pope Cup Runner Up Award. Taittinger is a former winner of this special class for Horses Showing Thoroughbred Qualities.

Sixteen year old Kaitlin Labahn has formed a very good partnership with her mother, Michelle Labahn's beautiful, 'Rolex II'. In a strong field they outperformed some experienced opposition to claim the 2018 Royal Melbourne Show Pope Cup. And that's not all. They claimed the Child's Hack Championship and as second to the Champion, they made the most of their opportunity and claimed the 2018 Royal Melbourne Show Reserve Hack title. After all that they claimed the Gorst Family Award for Best Performed Hack of the show.
