Janine Shepherdson is pictured with her own and the Harper-Purcell nomination, 'Sigmund' that won the class for Thoroughbred Gelding N/E 16hh. The 2018 Brisbane Royal Champion Led Thoroughbred Gelding went on to claim the 2019 Canberra Royal Reserve title. Later in the day, Sigmund was declared Champion Thoroughbred Under Saddle.

Chase Jackson turned 8 today. He won the class for Boy Rider 7 AU 9 Years and is pictured aboard the delightful, 'Elvonara Park Kandyman' during the Supreme Junior Rider ride off. He didn't get the nod, but he did steal the show.

The beautiful, 'Newington Tinkerbell' ridden by Ella Manning and nominated by Margot Haynes, David Quayle and Catherine Gale took second place in the class for Pony Hack 11.2-12hh and the Pony Hack Mare N/E 12.2hh. She is pictured working beautifully as usual.

Candice Carroll's, 'CP Slimplicity' was declared Champion Gelding and Supreme Champion Led Thoroughbred. The victory was all the more sweet, as the horse was seriously ill in November. Candice is pictured with L-R Roz Keir, one of those  responsible for the 2019 ACTewAGl Royal Canberra Show and Thoroughbred judge, Brendan Mackay.
