Candice Carroll's, 'CP Slimplicity' was declared Champion Gelding and Supreme Champion Led Thoroughbred. The victory was all the more sweet, as the horse was seriously ill in November. The 2018 Brisbane Royal Champion Led Thoroughbred Gelding went on to claim the 2019 Canberra Royal Reserve title. Later in the day, Sigmund was declared Champion Thoroughbred Under Saddle.
