Dakota Gough from Tangorin Station near Hughenden in North West Queensland was a bit of a surprise winner of the Junior Judging competition  today. Dakota is more in to cattle than horses and in fact is successful in cattle junior judging classes. She proved today that she has an eye for a good horse as well. Her secret, "good conformation, balance and fit for desired purpose". The talented 16 year old is sure to go far in the Agricultural industry. Jack Jackson was the Highest Placed Horse Competitor. Pictured L-R judge Sharyn Ruskey-Flemming, Jack Jackson, class sponsor and Honorary RNA Council Steward, Mary McMillan and Dakota Gough.
