Steve Graham follows his cow to the far end riding Parraweena Sugar Daddy. This combination placed second in the Novice Ranch Cutting. In Ranch Cutting it is not necessary to go fast, as long as you have your cow in the pen in 2 1/2 minutes. Going faster does gain more points if you control the cow well.

Indoors at Elmore today was pleasant for the competitors but for riders wanting to give their horses a bit more work it was not fun. Torrential rain showers turned the warm up arena into a lake. Jessica Young did her best with Sashas Smokin Lena in the wet conditions.
