Victorian Country Show Jumping Championships were competed this weekend at Albury Wodonga Equestrian Centre and hosted by Border District Show Jump Club.
Friday afternoon a strong cool change blew into the district dumping a heavy fall of rain with heavy showers continuing overnight. whilst welcomed by local farmers and graziers it made the track a little heavy Saturday morning but conditions quickly improved.
Saturday saw the height classes competed and Sunday the championship classes.
The feature class for the weekend was the Betty McVean Memorial Grand Prix was taken out by Elliot Reed and Avenden Indigo in a sharp time of 48.49 from James Harvey and Tyrone VDL 49.14 and an impressive 3rd Jacob Wells and Cobra De Capella 49.14
