2013 (11) 14hh Australian RP x Anglo Arab, Chestnut Gelding (flaxen)

We have had Izar since he was 5yo, we have taken him to pony club regularly. He has done games, trail riding, show jumping, cross country and tried polocrosse, garrocha and side saddle.

Izar would be suited to a very confident rider, preferable going for their second pony/horse. If the rider is nervous, he feels it and will be less willing to do things.
He has the personality of an Arab, so he can be very sensitive to riders’ feelings and has the occasional spook, nothing nasty just a jump. As he is an Arab he also comes with quirks, these are bucks when excited out on cross country courses and show jumping (his favourite sports)

He is currently doing grade 4 (65cm) at pony club and competitions but is confidently jumping at grade 3 (80cm) level.

He is easy to catch, stands for dentist, no drama with worming or getting needles, but he only has his feet trimmed he has never been shod will need boots for rocky terrain. He self-loads on a straight load float and is a great floater. He is great on his own or in company, can stand at float all day.
He is up to date with all worming (FEC worm check regularly) vaccinations and teeth.

Easy to keep weight on, we feed him Phoenix Feeds with supplements once a day, and this seems to work well with him.
This is a sad sale as daughter wouldn’t stop growing. He is a lovely boy and when you trust him and have a great bond you can do anything with him from riding in paddock with nothing, to cantering around with halter etc. Watch out he loves treats.

He will come with all his gear (and there is a lot), including a fitted saddle which he needs (can provide more details if you are interested)
