16.1h 10yo WB Gelding – serious showjumping and dressage mount for a competent rider

Competing Novice Dressage with results in the mid to high 60’s and training most Elementary movements, Timmy is well schooled on the flat and gives a soft, consistent ride with three lovely active paces. While he is well educated, he is not a schoolmaster and needs a rider with independent hands and seat who can ride correctly from leg to hand.

Timmy has been Showjumping 80 with his current rider, and has previously competed 105 and trained 115 with scope to burn. Straightforward and rideable into a fence with a snaffle mouth, he is a keen but careful jumper. Timmy has also schooled Cross Country up to 1* however has not had any Eventing starts.

Impeccable ground manners, will tie to the float or stand in a yard all day when out, loves a hack and is great out alone or with company, well-mannered for the farrier, to worm, self -loads on the float.

Whist Timmy has absolutely no dirt, he can be quirky and is a big, strong warmblood and will only be sold to an experienced rider. No juniors or first big horses, just getting back into riding etc. He is a gentle soul but can be sensitive at times and needs a kind, patient rider (who can also be firm when needed) to bring out his best. Timmy had successful kissing spines surgery in February 2022 at HorseMed Hills and has recovered fully with no ongoing maintenance required, been in full work since June 2022. Vet reports with X-rays available to provide to genuine buyers.

Fully EA registered with consistent outings, he is a well-established competition mount who is in full work, fit, and ready to go on with.
