2020 Australian Dressage Championships

Due to the uncertainty in the sport at this time, all efforts are being made by Equestrian Australia (EA) and the EA Dressage Committee (EADC) to determine if the 2020 Australian Dressage Championship can proceed at a date and venue to be determined.

The Equestrian Australia Dressage Committee is very much aware of everyone’s keenness to return to competition, from our clubs through to a possible resumption of some of our major events around the country.

With positive steps being taken in the general sporting community backed by both Federal and individual State Government Guidelines and Recommendations, the latter part of the year is shaping up to celebrate the return to widespread competition.

To support Equestrian NSW, Dressage NSW and the equestrian Dressage community, the EADC has also granted Dressage NSW the 2021 Australian Dressage Championship.

Andrew Hamilton, Acting CEO of Equestrian Australia stated that, "The health and safety of our people and horses remain our priority as we work together as a broader community in order to navigate through these tough times and ensure that our members can enjoy a safe return to competition as quickly as we can."
