Auction of the Stars Results

It was a great weekend at Auction of the Stars with our highest clearance rate ever, at 80.77%. We even managed to survive the humidity and only catch the edge of just one of the intense storms that rolled around the Hunter!

Top-priced horse of the day was Lot 7, the 8yo Royal Hit gelding Desigual, at $36,000. The most competitive horse of the day, though, was without doubt Lot 25 Utopian Classic, with a horde of bidders determined to take him home before the hammer fell at $28,250.

The cheapest horse of the day was Lot 18, Annaventure, sold in foal to MSJ Nemo with a live foal guarantee for just $3000.

The jewel of the auction, Lot 1, Bronze Boy R, attracted huge interest with bidding to $136,000, but it wasn’t enough for Heath to part with the super-talented Byalee Briar gelding, who has just qualified for two-star eventing and yet can also perform all of the Prix St Georges movements at just six years of age.

Our next auction is in July – see you all then!
