Australia’s Kristy Oatley dominates Zakrzów CDI3* with Du Soleil & Swagman

ZAKRZÓW, Poland, April 16, 2018–Australia’s Kristy Oatley dominated the Zakrzów CDI3*, posting personal best scores in both the Grand Prix and Special with her Olympic mount Du Soleil and on Swagman won their debut Grand Prix Freestyle.

The four-time Olympian for Australia and based in Germany, rode the 14-year-old Hanoverian stallion Du Soleil to victory in the Grand Prix with a score of 72.065 per cent that was a personal best for the pair. It was also the highest result for any combination competing in the first phase of the country’s selection procedures for the World Equestrian Games in Tryon, North Carolina in September.

Kristy and Swagman, her 14-year-old Oldenburg stallion, placed third on 68.761 per cent, behind Portugal’s Boaventura Freire on Sai Baba Plus on 68.957 per cent.
