Will Enzinger, EA High Performance Pathways Manager, said that the inclusion of up and coming combinations is an encouraging indication of the depth of the Australian talent pool.

“It is very exciting to see riders from the Generation NEXT Squad named on the nominated entry list for the FEI World Championships. Not all of these athletes will have the opportunity to compete at the World Championships next month, as only eight combinations will make the final cut, but by being nominated and capturing the attention of selectors it shows that they have taken a huge step in the right direction. We are really proud of the High Performance Program and feel that we are starting to see the results pay dividends.”

Congratulations to all combinations and owners named on the nomination list.

The final team selection will be announced on 17th August, 2022.
