Australians take on New Zealand in Trans-Tasman challenge

AN AUSTRALIAN team has been beaten in the final round of the Trans-Tasman Showjumping Championship in New Zealand.

Both the Australian and New Zealand teams went into the last day with a win up their sleeve, but the locals were too strong.

“Our riders rode extremely well — the competition was up to 1.30m and quite tough,” coach Becky Jenkins said.
