Black Caviar returns to the races

Undefeated champion mare Black Caviar will return to Flemington this Saturday to celebrate the raceday named in her honour.

Prior to the running of the Group 1 Black Caviar Lightning, the great mare will parade in the Flemington Mounting Yard, the scene of so many of her remarkable victories.

The 15-time Group 1 winner will be reunited with those closest to her during her incredible racing career, with owners Pam and Barry Hawkes, Gary and Kerrin Wilkie, David and Jill Taylor, Colin and Jannene Madden, Neil Werrett and Lena Attebo, trainer Peter Moody, jockey Luke Nolen, strapper Donna Fisher and trackwork rider Patrick Bell all on course at Flemington.
