Black Caviar statue unveiled

It is almost six-and-a-half years since Black Caviar last raced but possibly the greatest horse to be trained out of Caulfield was finally officially recognised at the track on Saturday morning with the unveiling of a statue.

The statue, which shows trainer Peter Moody welcoming back the unbeaten star with regular rider Luke Nolen aboard, was unveiled by the Victorian Racing Minister Martin Pakula, as well as the connections of the horse recognised at her peak as the world's premier sprinter.
