Charlotte Dujardin to Aim for World Cup Series with Mount St. John Freestyle

Charlotte Dujardin has confirmed to British equestrian magazine Horse & Hound that she is aiming for the World Cup series with Mount St. John Freestyle.

The 12-year old Hanoverian mare, owned by Emma Blundell, missed out on the 2021 Olympic Games and 2021 European Championships due to an injury. In her stead Dujardin took her own and Renai Hart's Gio to Tokyo and Hagen and won team and individual Olympic bronze and European team silver and kur bronze with him.

Mount St. John Freestyle (by Fidermark x Donnerhall) stayed at home and has been recovering. Before the Olympics Blundell communicated that Freestyle has "not maintained sufficient fitness to cope with the long travel and extreme climate required to perform to her best."
