Clint Beresford clinches second World Cup victory of the season

The third leg of the 2018/19 Australian World Cup Qualifying season was held yesterday in Adelaide as part of the Royal Adelaide Show. Clint Beresford, riding Emmaville Jitterbug took the maximum points on offer after an exciting and very closely contested competition.

A well designed but challenging course was tackled by 19 combinations, all intent on scoring as many World Cup qualification points as possible. Only three clears were ridden during the first round; Matthew Afford and Kaluna Salute, Kristy Bruhn and Jack and Brook Dobbin and Carrado MVNZ. The top 12 combinations were invited to come back for the second round, with penalties from the first round carried forward.
