Covid-19 at Tryon Equestrian Centre, Venue of the 2018 World Equestrian Games

Three COVID-19 cases have been reported at the Tryon Equestrian Centre, the venue that hosted the World Equestrian Games in 2018.

Sharon Allred Decker, President of Tryon Equestrian Partners, and JP Godard, the show manager, released the following statement about Covid-19 on their show grounds:

We are writing to inform you that we have received our first COVID-19 cases reported at Tryon Resort. On Monday morning, we were notified that a sub-contractor who had been working in close proximity to our Tryon Resort construction team had tested positive. The contractor crew had not been on property since early last week and they did not return to property.
