Fiona Selby & Tacita log first ever win on career high score at Willinga Park Grand Prix Freestyle

BAWLEY POINT, Australia, Feb. 24, 2019–Fiona Selby and Tacita claimed victory Sunday in the frst ever CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle in Australia and to log the first win and by far the highest career score for the pair in five years at Big Tour.

Fiona, managing director of the Boneo Park equestrian center near Melbourne, and the 16-year-old mare were awarded 73.500 per cent for the win by unanimous choice of the five judges. The previous high score for the duo was 68.625 per cent. Since beginning CDI Grand Prix in 2014, Fiona and Tacit had never placed higher than fourth at any Big Tour competition.

The 2016 Australian Olympic team partnership of Suzanne Hearn and Remmington placed second on 72.225 per cent.

The 20-year-old rising star Mary Warren on Mindara Park Raphael were third on 71.890 per cent.
