History awaits Kah at Sandown

Jamie Kah can make history at Ladbrokes Park Sandown today, needing just one winner to become the first jockey to ride 100 metropolitan winners in Victoria.

The leading jockey is $1.15 with Sportsbet to achieve the feat today, surpassing current record holder Brett Prebble who rode 99.5 metropolitan winners in a season.

The 25-year-old has an unbelievably strong book of rides at Wednesday’s meeting, kicking off with $3.30 chance Scientific in the first.

She then rides eye-catching maiden winner Murrumbidgee River ($2.20), followed by Write The Score ($2.20) for Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr in race three.
