Hotspot owners banned from track

Owners living in Victoria's COVID-19 hotspots will be banned from the track until the pandemic in those areas is under control.

Racing Victoria boss Giles Thompson announced the move on Wednesday morning in reaction to Premier Daniel Andrews' decision to lock down parts of the state by postcode from 11:59pm on Wednesday night.

Under the plan announced, all suburbs in the following postcodes will return to stage three restrictions: 3038, 3064, 3047, 3060, 3012, 3032, 3055, 3042, 3021, 3046.
