International horses but no travelling staff a possibility for spring carnival

The prospect of international racehorses travelling to Melbourne for the spring carnival without staff is still viable, according to leading horse charter company IRT.

However, overseas trainers and stablehands won't be allowed to come to Australia if the current coronavirus restrictions on international travel remain in place.
