Isabell Werth on Totilas: "Those Who Rise High, Fall Deep"

On 30 August 2018 Isabell Werth, the world's number one Grand Prix rider, published her biography titled "Vier Beine tragen meine Seele" (Four Legs Carry My Soul). Co-written by renowned sport journalist Eva Simeoni the book tells Werth's life with horses and so far is published only in German.

Known to be outspoken and frank about the reelings and dealings in international dressage sport, Werth does not hold back criticism on German team selection policies. Especially in the chapter on the 2015 European Dressage Championships, which were the demise of the great Totilas, Isabell has a clear opinion.
