Laing vows to fight for licence

Robbie Laing has vowed to fight back and regain his trainer's licence after Racing Victoria moved to reject his nominations from Saturday night.

Laing was informed by RV this week that any further nominations from the stable would not be accepted after November 30, which has prompted Laing to begin transferring a number of horses to his recently licensed 23-year-old son Jack.

Laing said a marriage break-up and other financial troubles had meant he has struggled to pay the rent on his Cranbourne stables.

He said he is considering his legal options against the refusal of his nominations.
