Laura Graves tops Global Dressage Festival prizemoney rankings for 2nd week

WELLINGTON, Florida, Jan. 28, 2019–Laura Graves and Verdades, leading in the quest to challenge for a World Cup title, led the Adequan Global Dressage Festival prize money earnings for the second week of international competitions, according to calculations presented by Cunningham & Cunningham Livestock Insurance.

Riders from six nations have made it into the top 20 money earnings on the circuit that runs for seven weeks of CDIs through the end of March.

Laura of Geneva, Florida and her 17-year-old KWPN gelding, No. 2 in the world, have earned a total of $8,300 from two World Cup qualifiers. In the latest global rankings at the end of this month, the pair will be just four points away from Isabell Werth and Weihegold OLD in the world No. 1 spot.

Germany’s Michael Klimke, riding horses for Harmony Sporthorses of Kiowa, Colorado and himself is standing second with $5,420 in total prize money, .

Not far behind on $5,200 is American Shelly Francis of Loxahatchee, a community neigboring Wellington.
