Nullarbor Muster tests novice bull riders, from 40-year-old birthday boys to unlucky brothers

If you were compiling a midlife crisis bucket list of places to visit and things to do before shuffling off this mortal coil, would riding a bull at an outback rodeo make the cut?

"I'm getting older, so if I don't do it now, I'll never do it I suppose," he said before climbing onto a bull's back.

"I just want to get it done, tick a box and say I've done it.

"I've done skydiving and I think this is more nerve-wracking for me."
