On a remote cattle station, horse trainer Joe Hughes is attempting to train 70 wild brumbies in seven days, in what he said would be a world first.
It started after a phone conversation late last year with the Campbell family on Mundrabilla Station, on the Nullarbor Plain in Western Australia.
The wild brumbies were chasing cattle off the water, and after a dry year the Campbells had started carting water for their stock.
A long way from his home on his own station in far western New South Wales, Mr Hughes had to make a decision.
