Rowan Willis: On his new ride 'Ashton Dakota'

We saw another great win for Rowan Willis and Ashton Dakota in the $213,300 FEI HITS Grand Prix – CSI4* in Saugerties, New York over the weekend.

Ashton Dakota, a 13 year old grey gelding by Lupicor H out of Pomina M (by Corofino I), is a new ride for Rowan this year. This was only the second CSI4* start for this horse, who also had a win the previous day in the CSI4* Welcome Stakes.

Ashton Dakota is owned by Rowan Willis, Page Flournoy, John & Lori Wallis, Dinah & Steve Posford and Bryan Hirst & Sandra Bryant. Rowan says, “he was bred and produced in Scotland by Mark Turnball and I’m so grateful to all the wonderful owners involved with Daks and to Will Funnell for helping me buy him from the Turnbull Family”
