We are back! The beautiful Miami Beach is set for three spectacular days of showjumping. 56 riders, over 100 horses and 10 former world number ones will take to the beach showcasing their inspirational talent this week.

Everyone was up at 06:30 this morning to watch the riders exercise their horses while the sun rose above the sea creating scenes that looked like they were from a movie. The build for this one-of-a-kind event started just 9 days ago under the supervision of Colm McKay and as we look to the start of competition on Thursday 18th April, everything is ready for the world-class event. Around 2000 tonnes of specially imported sand for the surfaces has been used, 3500 bales of shavings, 10 tonnes of hay and 13 tonnes of horse feed are needed for LGCT Miami Beach.

Jumping will commence tomorrow at 14.10 local time. Then all eyes will be on the home team Miami Celtics in GCL Miami Beach Round 1 at 16.45. The list of horses and riders competing at this prestigious event is out and there’s a cavalcade of stars in action this week. From reigning LGCT Miami Beach Grand Prix Champion Edwina Tops-Alexander to newbie on the GCL William Whitaker, get your sunblock out and head down to Miami's South Beach to watch some of the best in the business.

If you can’t join us at this idillic location don’t panic! All the action will be shown LIVE and for free on out website GC TV. You can also keep up-to-date on everything that is happening under the sun on all of our social media platforms listed below.
