Subbie ‘well enough’ to attend funeral

Vets have confirmed Melbourne Cup-winner Subzero is in good enough health to attend the funeral of his best mate and carer Graham Salisbury.

Graham passed away on Saturday aged 76 after a long battle with cancer and had commented previously that if possible he would love for Subbie to attend his funeral.

Equine Surgery specialist Dr Sarah Jalim from the Bendigo Equine Hospital, has been treating Subbie for almost ten years and was called in to check up on the 31 year-old on Monday.
