Subzero to star in children's book

Much-loved Melbourne Cup winner Subzero is set to star in a children's book highlighting his astonishing community work.

It comes as the 31-year-old is back fit and firing, less than two months after battling life-threatening illnesses including colic, kidney failure and peritonitis.

"It's so exciting, we'll do anything to help out the kids so we are really thrilled that someone would want to do a children's book on him," said Graham Salisbury.

"A nice lady got in touch with us about doing a book for kids and came up to see us to meet him and get it started."
