Tamworth Dressage Leads From the Front with Paperless Dressage

Tamworth Dressage Club lead from the front over the weekend, running three successful days of dressage competition, without any paper.

They had 52 classes with 417 entries in total and every arena used tablets instead of paper to score the tests, using Nominate's LiveScore dressage scoring system.

Classes ranged from Prep A to Grand Prix and Para Equestrian and included official and club classes.

Many spectators were seen around the grounds getting movement by movement updates on dressage tests, whilst the riders themselves were all excited to receive their scores as they were exiting the arena.

Club Vice-President Marjolyn Thomas said “From an event organisers viewpoint, the system was brilliant. We were able to do away with runners picking up test sheets, and instead of having three people in the office punching in scores, we had just one person keeping an overall eye on things. The system will definitely reduce our reliance on volunteers moving forward and the riders love it too.”

Lloyd Raleigh from Nominate said “Our paperless dressage scoring system has been used by many clubs around the country over the last 12 months, but this is the first event run over 3 whole days that has gone completely paperless.

Tamworth dressage has decided that they won’t be using paper anymore and are already looking forward to using the system at the NSW state dressage championships which they are hosting later this year.”
