Versailles Re-confirmed as Equestrian Venue for 2024 Paris Olympic Games

The organizing committee of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games have re-confirmed the gardens of Versailles as venue for equestrian and para equestrian sport.

Recent revisions of the budget, in an effort to save 400 million euro due to the corona pandemic, have led to a revised venue plan.

The plans to use Versailles as venue for horse sport remain unchanged, as announced in 2017.

The royal palace of Louis XIV will provide a distant back drop for Olympic horse sport as the competition arena will be located in the far end of the gardens.
