BRUMBY supporters have accused Parks Victoria of disguising a proposal to cull wild horses as a trapping plan.
The Victorian Brumby Association, which has rescued and rehomed about 500 wild horses from across NSW and Victoria since 2007, said a plan to manage feral horses would allow horses to be killed unnecessarily.
“We want Parks Victoria to stop disguising a cull as a trapping program,” Association president Colleen O’Brien said.
