Big Valley Quarter Horse Association hosted the 2023 Victorian Quarter Horse State Championship Show under the big roof at the Benalla Sports and Equestrian Center, from December 7 to 12, with Judge Chris Brown from Montana USA, and local judge Barb Vial scoring Dressage and Ridden Hack classes.
With over 130 classes across 4 massive days122 competitors, aged from 6 to 82 came from as far afield as Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia, Tasmania and South Australia to vie for the prizes on offer, and the prestige of being crowned a State Champion.
