Having competed 4* eventing in his youth, Jamaica is the perfect candidate as a confidence building schoolmaster and proven competition mount.
He has 3 beautiful paces, displaying elegance and cadence in his movement. He is a capable dressage mount, achieving high results in competition up to elementary, while training medium.
In the showjumping ring, Jamaica is quick and careful, forgiving to rider errors and rarely knocking a pole. Jumping is his true passion, he is a true point and shoot type.
On XC, Jamaica covers ground well, however does not become strong. He is bold and has a vast history of success in this area.
Now, as a mature mount, he provides all the experience and confidence that is needed for an ambitious teen or adult to climb the grades, or sit comfortably around 95cm.
Jamaica is fabulous to float, patient for the farrier, easy to worm and catches you.
