Liberty Smythe from Qld riding 'Laurel Glen Pilgrim' was Reserve Champion in the 80cm Primary Showjumping and Equitation Championship.

Kayla Logan from Western Australia was given a pool horse to compete with, but due to circumstances and a little bad luck, not only had to become acquanted with one horse upon her arrival to Qld but three. Unfortunately she ended up competing with 4 different horses during the Championships and the horse she rode today 'Laurel Glen Pilgrim' owned by Liberty Smythe of Qld, Kayla had only ridden 10 minutes before her jump time.

The South Australian Team had a good few days of competition and even though, not a big team attended, had a good time in Toowoomba in South East Qld.

Winner of the Finch Farm Showjumping Perpetual Trophy for the best overall result in the Showjumping Championship. David Finch presents the trophy to Madeline Wilson from Qld who rode 'Levi Red Jeans'.

The Champion Primary Team for the event were the Queensland team who had been most successful in their competition.

NSW had a very successful few days during the Championships and won the Champion Secondary Team for the event.

The Horseland Team Work Trophy was presented to the Northern Territory team for their team spirit and teamwork also their great display and decoration of their stables.

The Overall Trophy for the state with the hghest score across all four sports, the Harry le Bherz Perpetual Trophy was presented to the Queensland team.

The closing ceremony of the National Championships was very impressive but the Qld Team pictured was really something to see and would make any Queenslander proud.
