However, this sensational mare slipped out of contention with two down in the second round, but Gabi stepped up with her other super mare, 'Flaire' to jump four and a very fast clear to take third place in the Kevin Bourke Memorial Mini Prix.

Clint Beresford jumped a four penalty first round riding his talented June Bug son, 'Emmaville Jitterbug'. Clint was determined to put the pressure on the four clear rounds ahead of him with a scorching second round clear. His two round total of four in just over a minute was good enough to claim the 2018 Sydney Royal Easter Show Grand Prix. For his efforts throughout the show, Jitterbug was awarded the Samuel Horden Memorial Perpetual Trophy for the Jumping Horse of the Show.

Their second round was not quite as good as the first and they had to settle for fourth place in the Grand Prix. The drive back home to Victoria will still be a happy one.
