Fifteen year old Sarah McMillan from Kulnura in NSW demonstrated the form that saw her declared Champion Junior Jumping Rider at Adelaide for the second consecutive year.  Sarah dominated the Junior section, winning four out of the five classes on offer, three with 'Lanarkshire Lad' and one, the Grand Prix, with 'Miss Cinnamon'.

Had Equine Influenza not called a halt to the Spring Royal Show season last year, the very well performed 'Kolbeach Promise' would have enjoyed her Novice season last year. However, it did not take long for Graham Elliot and Darryl and Linda Hayes' beautiful mare to lose her Novice status. 'Promise', ridden as always by Linda Hayes won the Novice 13-13.2hh Pony Hack class and went on to claim the Willowcroft Stud Prize for Best Novice Pony Hack.
