BWPC Camp QH & Youth Feature Show

Islay Collins showed Fraggle Roc into a place in the Quarter Horse Gelding 4 Years & Over halter class.

The winner of the Quarter Horse Gelding 3 Years & Under was Whadya Reckon shown by Courtney Whittaker.

For the two days preceeding the show, the Burpengary Western Performance Club ran a very popular Camp Quarter Horse training clinic. The clinic attracted 25 youth riders seen here with some of their trainers - Ed Minehan & Lisa Day (left) & Deb Harrip, Lyn Hoffman & Mandy Johnstone (right).

The judge for Sunday's show was Ms Lorelei Payne who helped many of the novice handlers & riders out with very useful & informative advice throughout the day.

Charlie Falconer lets Playin With Cheek know he's been a good boy in his Quarter Horse Gelding 4 Years & Over halter class.

The winner of the Quarter Horse Gelding 4 Years & Over was Senors Smokin Beaver shown by Brylee Patterson.

Kelsey Pianeda enjoyed a good show aboard her flashy Palouse Pony, Tommay Apache Chief, with wins in the Any Other Breed Gelding 4 Years & Over & in the Youth Walk & Trot.

Lacey Boudar showed her lovely Connemara, Maklin Garlin, in the Any Other Breed Gelding 4 Years & Over halter class.

Billie Lee Boudar was delighted by taking out the blue ribbon with her "Buddy" in the unregistered pony class.

Unregistered Gelding 4 Years & Over halter class competitors, Angela Schilling & Archie.

Attending the second show of their career together so far were Smart Chic N Jessie & Angela Paulus.

Kael Thompson borrowed Tommay Apache Chief for a successful tilt at the blue ribbon in the Leadline Hunter Under Saddle class.

Beginner Youth Rider Hunter Under Saddle competitors, Gunnago Uppity Return & Bridgette Itzstein.

Katherine Boudar had Splodgie travelling nicely in the Beginner Youth Rider Hunter Under Saddle.

Head down & mike up in the announcer's box was Terry McSweeney.

Beginner/Improver Adult Rider Hunter Under Saddle winners, Greenhill Clever Story & Jill Garth.

Absolootly Zipped & Islay Collins contest the Improver Youth Hunter Under Saddle event.

Open Hunter Under Saddle competitors, Zip It Again & Terry Fabricius.

Debbie Kyle & Foxy Tradition were the winners of the Open Hunter Under Saddle class.

Kiarna McDonough had a pleasant trip around the ring on Circle K Love Bug to take out a prize in the Leadline Western Pleasure event.

Another happy Leadline Western Pleasure competitor, Charlotte Reeve, who strutted her stuff aboard C-Notes Loverboy to take home a ribbon.

Nikita McLean rode her lovely Australian Stud Book Pony, Rainbow Lodge Silver Mist, to a win in the Youth 10 Years & Under Hunter Under Saddle.
