Forbes Sorting and Penning Inc March Competition

Forbes Sorting & Penning Inc. recently held their first competition of the 2022 Series on the weekend of the 26th - 27th March, at the Forbes Showgrounds. Over 90 Riders from all over NSW, travelling from as far away as the North Coast, Armidale and Guyra, as well as many Forbes locals, completed over 850 runs. The total prize pool for the weekend was in excess of $12,000, with much appreciated sponsorship provided by Hanley Excavation & Road Services, Forbes Livestock Agency, Forbes Inn, Dan Ball Transport, Mount Pleasant Limousine Stud, Midpro Engineering & Irrigation and Lawson Grains. First place winners were also delighted to receive bags of lucerne chaff from Eugowra Produce. The cattle supplied and prepared by Kevin Miller and Rob Mulligan were generously fed with hay donated by the Frazer family and transported by Neil Morrison Livestock Transport. The weekend started early on the Friday with a clinic run by Dawn Barwick - and excellent way to tune up for a weekend of competing! The next competition in the Forbes Series is in the calendar for the weekend of the 23rd-24th July, it should be a fantastic event!
