PCAV Flat and Musical Ride State Champs

Nine year old Lauren Cocks rode Kapeta Prediction for Riddles Creek Life Saver Team in the Musical Ride.

Jaymee Gayzer and Malibu Park Rosemary represented Riddles Creek Pony Club Lifesaver Team in the Musical Ride State Championships.

Indigo Nicholson riding Missy successfully rode for the third place Trentham Pony Club Musical Ride Team.

Sienna Barttel (Gizmo), Amy Robinson (Pebbles), Zara Cotter (Poppy) and Emily Hammond (Charms) made up the Orbost Pony Club Pirates of the Caribbean Musical Ride Team.

Emily Lavery (Everybody Needs a Buddy), Bethany Lavery (Biscuit), Alicia Lavery (Society Beau) and Melissa Ball (D.P. Royal Affair) made up the sixth place St. Andrews Pony Musical Ride Team.

Georgina Macklin and Pippin rode for the Heywood Pony Club team in the Musical Ride.

Lucy Mullen and Regal Bundoboy represented Heywood Pony Club in the Musical Ride.

Michaela Sutton looks to be having a lot of fun riding Maddi in the Chelsea Pony Club Musical Ride Team.

Kimberley Carpenter (My Haven Showgirl), Annabelle Radford (Acki), Brianna Sargent (Simba) and Elle Walkington (My Haven Magician) from Numurkah Pony Club won the State Musical Ride Championship.

The Bealiba B Pony Club Team competed in the Flat Teams Championship. The small club of Bealiba near Donolly fielded three teams for the Flat and Musical Ride Championships.

Rebecca Dale (Caddy), Maddy Squires (Majic), Sarah Piko (Camelot) and Anita Collins (Jack) made up the North Eastern Pony Club Bride and Groom Musical Ride Team.

Ten year old Emma Aldous rode Jasper for the Ringwood Pony Club Mickey Mouse Team in the Musical Ride.

Chloe Slater is all smiles riding Bindi for Ringwood Pony Club in the Musical Ride.

There were some wonderful costumes and music in the Musical Ride Teams State Championships. Jayde Kirkham and Deablo represented fifth place Macedon Pony Club Hocus Pocus Team.

Kelsey Mason and Jasper represented Ballarat Pony Club in the Musical Ride and the Flat Team event. The Ballarat team took sixth place in the Flat Team event.

Sophie Blay riding Chester and Gemma Rendaell with Summerfield Delight represented Bairnsdale Pony Club in the Musical Ride. Competitors travelled from all corners of the state with the Bairnsdale Team traveling for five hours to attend. Add to that the time to get in to costume! We think they are the team from Shreck.

Eve Toohey riding Cavalier and Ruby Toohey riding Lady Di were members of the Mary Poppins Bealiba C Team.

Leah Holt rode Bonnie for the Bealiba C Team in the Musical Ride Championship.

Kellie Barnett and Snow Plough were members of the Bealiba A Circus Musical Ride Team and the second placeed Flat Team.

Justina Shanahan rode Saved By The Bell for the Bealiba A Musical Ride Team.

Grace Mitchell rode Charlie for the Warrnambool Pony Club Musical Ride Team.

Hannah Mitchell looks to be having lots of fun riding Bill for the Warrnambool Pony Club in the Musical ride. Pirates were a popular theme. The monkey must mean something, but we haven't seen the film!

Emma Marsden riding Ripplebrook Pennant and eight year old Meg Marsden riding Otway View Soyra represented Tocumwal Pony Club in the Musical ride.

Jasmine Salverson (Yarraman Fierre), Bridget Hilton (Dazzle N Daze) and Bryoni Butler (Bingo) were members of the second placed Barwon Valley Light Horseman Team in the Musical Ride and took fourth place in the Flat Team event.

Damien Thornton riding Zabuan was the four member of the second placed Barwon Valley Team.

Sarah Clifford riding Chelsea and Ashley Christie with Ella represented fifth placed Macedon Pony Club.

Rachel Lyon looks to be having a good time riding Biscuit for the Warragul Team. After months of practicing, final performances often resulted in lots of smiles with the occasional teary rider when things did not go as planned.

Ellie Westmoreland riding Braeview Atticus represented the Drysdale/Leopold Pony Club in the Musicall Ride.

Christine Meyer and Galgada Park Jessica represented Upper Beaconsfild Pony Club as Phantom of the Opera in the Musical Ride. Upper Beaconsfield Pony Club won the Musical Ride Championship in 2003.

Emma Jones and Alis rode in the Upper Beaconsfield Pony Club Phantom of the Opera Team in the Musical ride. Each team at these Championships has had to qualify at their Zone Championships.
