Champion Debutante Pony 12.2hh and Under, Pauline Lay's striking "Lakevale Puss N Boots". After all the fear of foul weather breaking loose again across Melbourne, Werribee Park, for the most part af the day turned on splendidly dry conditions, with nice soft dry going underfoot after very heavy rain earlier in the week.

Georgia Cleeland has had a terrific year so far on her lovely Hack "Invermay Striking Bob", today taking out Champion Childrens Hack over 15hh, with a rider Under 18 years, also pictured with Judge Jane Gardner. The class very popular with 25 starters,quite  a big class for such young riders

A delighted Grace Hill takes out Champion Debutante Large Pony 12.2hh and not exceeding 14hh onboard Michelle Labahn's "Rothwell Fairy Dance". Young Grace Hill certainly no stranger to the winners circle in the pony classes having successfully piloted Silkwood Angel Wings for a very long and succesful period.

Shelley Penny, certainly a well known rider with a very successful track record took out Champion Showhunter Galloway with her lovely "Sheldene Nevada". The very cheerful Tania Hay pictured with Shelley, whom judged the Showhunter Classes, herself a two times Baratoc HOTY Champion Hack rider, and certainly a very knowedgable Showring expert.

The Showhunter Hack Class fielded some 24 entries, showing the popularity of the Showhunter Classes, with several years ago were relatively small in Australian shows. Danielle Pell rode "Vancouver Park My Amour" in the class, and despite getting a soaking in a late downpour, looked terrific.

Julie Conti's wonderful "Dreamtime Park Oprah" was ridden to a well deserved victory by David Wardle in the Intermediate Hack Over 16hh. I'm sure there will be a lot of Julie's freinds delighted for her and "Oprah's" win after a very tough year  for Julie.
