Carolyn Henley rode Emily James' Rotspon gelding, 'SS Rob Roy' to seventh place in the Hanoverian Horse Society Six Year Old Young Horse Championship.

Just outstanding! Matthew Dowsley and his imported Sandro Hit stallion, 'San Jose' represent the top end of the sport. Matthew a proven and successful international Grand Prix rider has in San Jose a horse to take him to the top of international competition. San Jose was declared the winner of the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia Six Year Old Young Horse Championship. Interestingly both first and second place in the Six Year Old class are by Sandro Hit. After the ridden assessment, 'San Jose' held his place and was declared Six Year Old Champion.

Wayne Williams rode his 'Holstein Park Comedian' by Contango II to fifth place in the competitive Zilco Intermediate Freestyle with 67.55%.

Maree Tomkinson kept the best 'till last with her own and Lyn Sultana's beautiful and talented Diamond Hit mare, 'Diamantina 4' to win the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle with 71.40%..

'GV Bullwinkle' was not so sure cross country was not a little less scary that the indoor arena packed with an enthusiastic crowd. The winner of the Prix St Georges and the Intermediate 1 was a little overawed by the atmosphere, but with Rozzie Ryan giving the former eventer a tactful ride he took fourth place in the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle with 68.20%. Later in the evening Rozzie rode her, 'Jive Magic' to take second place in the Hamilton Island Grand Prix Freestyle with 71.70%.

Jeremy Janjic rode Anne-Maree Cambridge's impressive 17.1hh palomino stallion, 'Byalee Briar' (Bjorsells Briar/Florine) in the interesting Stallion Show, which was part of the entertaining CDI Saturday evening programme.

Nina Boyd is pictured riding her impressive and imported German stallion, 'First Kiss' (French Kiss/Comtess Corlana) in the Stallion Parade that was part of the entertaining evening programme at the Sydney CDI.

Gina Montgomery is having a great weekend which included taking second place in the Hanoverian Horse Society Six Year Old Young Horse Championship riding the Revelwood Warmblood Stud's imported and exciting Sandro Hit stallion, 'Smash Hit'. Gina backed up her Advanced Championship win by taking our the IRT Advanced Freestyle riding her Weltmeyer gelding, 'NV Wallmeyer' with 70.08%.

Daniella Dierks rode Greg and Katharine Farrell's 'Revelwood Donatello' by Don Ramiro to take seventh place in the Hanoverian Horse Society Five Year Old Young Horse Championship.

Victoria Welsh rode Rick Findleter's Whisper gelding, 'Wie Wish' in to eight place in the Hanoverian Horse Society Five Year Old Young Dressage Horse Championship.

Petria Briggs rode her own, Don Ramiro gelding, 'Don Caruso' to take ninth place in the Hanoverian Horse Society Four Year Old Young Horse Championship.

Katina Smith was third in the Hanoverian Horse Society Four Year Old Young Horse Championship riding her own Jive Magic gelding, 'Just Dance R'. After two rounds, horses by Jive Magic were first, third and sixth. With their father winning the Grand Prix it was certainly a good weekend for Rozzie Ryan's much admired stallion.

Anne Riley rode her 'Flowervale Houlana' by Houston to take fourth place after two rounds of the Hanoverian Horse Society Six Year Old Young Horse Championship.

Gary Lung and his super 'GB Winchester' by Weltmeyer out of Glennis Barrey's successful FEI mare, GB Saffron have been a popular and talented addition to the Young Horse classes for the last few years. They have such a promising future in the sport and finished third today in the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia Six Year Old Young Horse Championship.

Nicholas Fyffe rode Jenny Rapson's lovely 'Fioretta' by Ferro Rocher out of a Sandro Hit mare to fifth place in the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia Four Year Old young Horse Championship.

After two qualifying rounds, Nichola Paff was in first place in the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia Five Year Old Championship riding Kathleen Guest's, 'Pacific Eclipse' by Heathmont Echo.

A very Busy Lizzie Wilson-Fellows, with a horse in all sections of the Young Horse competition is pictured riding Susan Fidler's 'Let's Entertain' by Gracefield Klaus in the second round of the Hanoverian Horse Society Six Year Old Young Horse competition.

Beatrix Stewart from Western Australia took ninth place overall in the IRT Advanced Championship and was eighth in the IRT Advanced Freestyle riding her 'Barrabadeen Class Act' by Belcam Clinton.

Catherine Crittenden was eighth in the IRT Advanced Championship and took tenth place in the entertaining IRT Advanced Freestyle on the last say of another successful Sydney CDI.

Christine Crawford had a successful Advanced tour riding Madelain Swan's Jazz gelding 'Jazzsong' and was fourth in the IRT Advanced Tournament. with 65.50%.

Kaz Roe from Queensland ha a super Advanced tour with her Don Bosco mare, 'Donna Bonita'. They took third place over all in the IRT Advanced Championship and were also third in the IRT Advanced Freestyle.

Popular and successful rider, Glennis Barrey rode her 'Classico II' by Calypso Classic to win the Goldin Grand Prix Special on the final day of the Sydney CDI.

Successful New Zealand rider, Jody Hartstone put her talent and experience to good use today by winning the Gow Gates International Prix St Georges Derby riding Connie Bookless' 'UQ Anapavlova' by Anamour. On Saturday evening Jody was delighted with her 'Whisper 1V' that produced a good test to take third place in the Hamilton Island Grand Prix Freestyle.

The obviously delighted Australian Team of, L-R Jenny Gehrke riding Rebecca Coverntry's 'Shinning Messiah' and Ashley Day riding J & D Worth's 'Veritas' were second and third respectively in the Gow Gates International Prix St Georges Derby and took out the Horseland International Teams Competition.

Rodney Martin rode Andrea Beatty's Sandro Hit gelding, 'SS Sonata Hit' to finish the two Four Year Old Qualifying rounds in second place. After the ridden assessment, 'SS Sonata Hit' was declared the Hanoverian Horse Society Four Year old Young Horse Champion.

Fifteen year old Grace Kay had a wonderful competition riding her Jive Magic gelding, 'Karingal Jamiriquai' to finish in first place after two qualifying rounds of the Hanoverian Horse Society Four Year Old Young Horse competition.

South Australian , John Thompson rode his 'Kalimna Emblem' by Earl to finish in third place after two rounds of the Hanoverian Horse Society Five Year Old Championship. The top three horses in each age group were given a ridden assessment by visiting guest judge, Jorn Kubelke from Germany. After his assessment, 'Kalimna Emblem' were declared the Five year Old Champion.

German guest judge, Jorn Kubelke is pictured riding Bennett Conn's Real Diamond stallion, 'Rockstar' in the final ridden assessment of the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia Five Year Old Young Horse Championship. 'Rockstar' finished in second place after the two qualifying rounds.

The always popular Grand Prix rider, Gitte Donvig rode her mother, Mary Hanna's imported 'Port Said' by Phoenix to a wonderful Harry Potter theme to take fourth place in the Hamilton Island Grand Prix with 66.80%.

Rachael Sanna does not like coming second and she came out on Saturday night and produced a super ride with Torvill and Dean precision aboard Bev Edward's 'Jaybee Alabaster' to win the Hamilton Island Grand Prix Freestyle with 73.75%.
