The 2018 Sydney CDI is a selection trial for the WEG in the USA later in the year and Brett Parbery got the jump on the other contenders riding Susan Duddy's Weltmeyer gelding out of the imported Catherton Debutante, 'DP Weltmieser'.  They won the  Otto Sport Australia FEI Grand Prix CDI3* with 68.80%.
